What Moist Master is.

Action TESA’s HMR particle board — High Moisture Resistance. Particle board pressed harder and treated properly, so it copes with the humidity that swells an ordinary sheet at the edges.

Moisture resistance, built in

The HMR in the name. Made for humid rooms, where plain particle board starts to lift and swell along the edges.

Pressed denser

A higher density than ordinary particle board, which is where the strength and the stability come from.

Borer and termite resistant

Treated against both, so the board is not the weak link in a room full of timber.

Grips a screw

Strong screw holding on the face and the edge, so hinges and channels stay tight on a shutter that moves daily.

Odourless

No lingering smell once the furniture is in, which matters in a bedroom, a classroom or a ward.

Priced to be used in volume

The reason it goes into whole offices and schools: it does the job without the rate of a high density board.

Look for the ISI mark.

Particle board is one of the materials that genuinely has an Indian Standard behind it. Moist Master is licensed against IS 3087, and the mark and licence number are printed on the board itself — not just claimed on a bill.

  • The mark is on the board

    Every sheet carries the ISI mark and its CML licence number on the face. You can read it at the counter, before anything is loaded.

  • A licence is issued, not printed at will

    IS 3087 is the Indian Standard for particle board, and the licence to mark against it comes from BIS. That is a different thing from a seller calling a board moisture resistant.

  • Unmarked board tells you nothing

    Plain particle board and HMR particle board can look near enough identical on a stack. In a kitchen, six months apart, they do not behave the same at all.

  • Ask for the mark and the invoice

    We bill Moist Master as Action TESA on a GST invoice, and the board comes marked. Ask us for both — and ask anyone else you are comparing us against.

The question we get asked at the counter most. Both resist moisture; they are built for different jobs and different budgets.
