Century Club Prime Doors in Kanpur
CenturyPly’s premium flush door: boiling water proof, termite and borer proof, and backed by a thirty year warranty — the longest on any door we sell. Supplied plain, for the main door and the openings that have to last as long as the house.
Open Monday to Saturday
What a Club Prime Door is.
The top of CenturyPly’s flush door range: a solid wooden shutter made from imported timber, bonded to stay together through water, and treated so that insects find nothing to eat.
Boiling water proof
BWP bonding, the grade that holds the layers together when the door gets wet, rather than letting the bottom edge swell and the faces lift.
Termite and borer proof
CenturyPly treats the shutter right through with its patented Glue Line Internal Protection, so the protection sits inside the door, not only on its surface.
Thirty year warranty
The longest warranty on any door in our store. It is the clearest statement a maker can give of how long it expects a door to last.
Supplied plain
The shutter arrives unfinished, ready for the veneer, laminate, polish or paint your carpenter is putting on the rest of the house.
What the thirty years is paying for.
Two flush doors can look identical on the day they are hung. The difference shows up years later, at the hinges, along the bottom edge and inside the core — which is exactly where CenturyPly has put its numbers.
Tested against IS 2202 Part 1
The Indian standard for solid core flush door shutters sets a pass mark for each test. CenturyPly publishes where Club Prime lands against it.
- Screws hold well past the minimumThe standard asks a screw to resist 1000 N before it pulls out. Club Prime is rated at 1500 N, half as much again. On a heavy main door, swinging dozens of times a day, the hinge screws are the first thing to give.
- The edge takes load without bendingUnder edge loading the shutter deflects 4.5 mm against a 5 mm limit, and it comes back from the buckling test well inside the allowance.
- Water does not open the glueThe end immersion and glue adhesion tests come back with no delamination — the layers stay bonded after the bottom of the door has sat in water.
- Slammed and misused, it stays trueNo damage from the slamming test and no permanent deformation from misuse, which is a fair description of how a front door is treated.
-
Protection that goes all the way in
Termites rarely come through the face of a door. They come up through the frame and the floor and work along the inside. Glue Line Internal Protection is there for the part of the door nobody ever sees.
-
A quieter, steadier door
A solid timber shutter keeps out dust, heat and noise far better than a hollow one, and it closes with a weight that a lighter door cannot fake.
-
Fit it the way the maker says
A long warranty still depends on the door being trimmed, finished and hung properly. The rules are the same as for any flush door — we have set them out on our Sainik Doors page.
-
Check it at the counter
Turn a shutter round with us before you buy it. The brand, the warranty and the grade are on the door itself, and we would rather you read them than took our word for it.
Club Prime or Sainik?
Both are CenturyPly flush doors, both are supplied plain, and we stock both. The choice comes down to the opening.
-
Choose Club Prime for the main door
The entrance takes the weather, the heaviest hardware and the most use. It is the one door in the house where paying for the premium shutter is easy to justify.
-
Choose Club Prime where there is moisture
Kitchens, utility doorways and ground floor openings that take the damp of a Kanpur monsoon through the wall and the floor around them.
-
Choose Sainik for the dry rooms
For bedrooms and internal doors, Century Sainik Doors do the job well at a lower rate. Many houses use Club Prime at the front and Sainik inside.
-
Not for a bathroom
Boiling water proof is not the same as waterproof. Where the floor is wet every day, ask us about PVC and WPC doors — we will say so rather than sell you a wooden one.
Where it’s used.
The openings where a door is expected to last, and to be looked at.
Main entrance doors
The front door of a house or flat, finished in veneer or polish to set the tone for everything behind it.
Kitchen and utility doorways
Openings that meet steam, splashing and a mopped floor every day, where the bottom edge of an ordinary shutter gives way first.
Premium homes and villas
Projects where every door in the house is being finished to one specification and nobody wants to replace one in ten years.
Offices and institutions
Cabin, corridor and hall doors that get opened all day, every day, for decades.

Free advice before you buy
Tell us the opening and how it will be finished, and we’ll say whether Club Prime is worth it there — including when a Sainik, a ready-finished or a waterproof door would serve you better.
-
Seven days to change your mind
Uncut, unused doors can come back within seven days, no questions asked.
A front door is bought once.
It is the one door everybody touches and everybody sees, and replacing it means a carpenter, a painter and a week of disruption. That is the job Club Prime is made for.
Doors to hang?
Send the opening size and how many on WhatsApp. The rate comes back the same day, and we’ll tell you which openings need Club Prime and which don’t.
