Door buying guide
Which door, for which room?
Flush, membrane, WPC or HDHMR. Most door trouble we see isn't a bad door. It's the right door in the wrong room. Here's how to get every opening right.
Seven doors, explained.
What each door is made of, and the rooms it belongs in. All of them come in 30 mm and are priced by the square foot.

Flush
Century: Club Prime (premium) and Sainik (value)
A timber frame with a solid core and ply on both faces. Sold plain, to be laminated, veneered or painted at site. Two Century lines: Club Prime is the premium door, built to take more moisture, for the main door and kitchen. Sainik is the value door, at a lower rate, for dry rooms.

What decides a door’s rate.
We don't print rates because they move with stock and quantity. These are the five things that move them.
The core
WPC and solid HDHMR cost more than a standard flush core. You're paying for water resistance and strength.
The finish
A plain flush door is the cheapest to buy, but laminate, glue and labour still follow at site. A factory-laminated door costs more up front and often less overall.
The size
Doors are priced by the square foot, so a bigger opening costs more.
The design
Plain, grooved, moulded or fluted. The more work in the face, the higher the rate.
The brand
A known name costs a little more, and comes with quality you can hold it to.
A quick sum. A 7 ft × 3 ft door is 21 sq ft. Multiply by the per-square-foot rate we send you. Door rates are quoted ex-godown Kanpur, with GST included.

A membrane door in the bathroom
It looks fine for a few months. Then the membrane lifts at the edges and the core swells. Bathrooms get WPC.
Comparing plain and laminated on rate alone
Add the laminate, the glue and the carpenter's days to the plain door before you compare.
Measuring the wall, not the frame
Measure the inside of the frame, height and width, at two or three points. Walls are rarely square.
Forgetting the frame and fittings
Most of our doors come as the door leaf only. Budget the chaukhat, hinges and lock separately.
One door for the whole house
Most homes need two kinds: a dry-room door, and WPC for the bathrooms.

Questions we get asked.
Which door is best for a bathroom?
A WPC door. Its core doesn't swell or rot, however often it gets wet. On a tighter budget, a PVC hollow-core door also handles water well. Keep membrane and plain flush doors out of bathrooms.
Does the door come with the chaukhat?
Most of our doors come as the complete door leaf only. The chaukhat (frame), hinges and lock are bought separately. Tell us on WhatsApp and we'll add them to the list.
Do you sell the chaukhat too?
Yes, WPC chaukhats. They don't swell or draw termites, so they pair well with any door, and especially in bathrooms.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes. Flush doors are stocked in standard sizes. Every other door is made to your size on order, and takes about 4 working days. Send the frame size on WhatsApp.
Will the door get termites?
WPC and PVC doors don't attract termites at all. Branded flush and HDHMR doors are treated against termites and borers at the factory.
What warranty do I get?
It depends on the door. Century Club Prime flush doors carry 30 years, Action TESA HDHMR doors 15 years, and Century Sainik flush doors 10 years. Fresh Apple laminated and membrane doors, Z-on and WPC doors carry 10 years.
How soon can the doors reach my site?
It depends on the order. Standard flush doors go from stock, and made-to-size doors are ready in about 4 working days. Ask on WhatsApp for your order's date. We deliver across Kanpur city, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Fatehpur and the belt around them.
