What a membrane door is.
A flush door, a design routed into its face, and a PVC membrane drawn down over the whole thing under heat and vacuum. The skin follows every groove, so the design and the finish arrive as one piece.
The design is routed, then skinned
The pattern is cut into the face at the factory and the membrane is pressed into it afterwards. There is no beading glued on and no moulding to lift at a corner.
One continuous skin
The foil wraps the face and the edges in a single sheet, so there is no seam along the stiles for water or dirt to sit in.
Your choice of core
The same designs are made on a commercial flush door, a pine flush door or a particle core. Tell us the room and the budget and we’ll say which one belongs there.
Nine standard finishes
Rose Wood, Jungle Wood, Natural Teak and Brown Wenge, with gloss versions of Rose Wood and Jungle Wood, a textured Rose Wood, a plain white and a double-colour option. The same design in a dark foil and a light foil reads as two different doors.
Single or double routing
Single routing is cut into one core ply; the deeper modelling on the heavier designs needs a double core. The design you pick decides which one you get.
Standard door sizes
Made in heights from 72 to 96 inches and widths from 24 to 48 inches, which covers almost every doorway in a normal house. Measure the opening and send it with the design code.
The polish is the part that fails.
A carpenter-made panelled door is two purchases. You pay for the door, and then you pay — again and again — for the finish on it.

A good part of the cost is not the door
Primer, putty, paint or melamine, the labour, and the days the room is out of use. None of that is in the shutter, and most of it comes back every few years.

A finished face goes up the same day
A membrane door comes out of the packing ready. Fit it, fix the hardware, done. Nothing to mask, nothing to dry, no smell in the house for a week.

Wipe it, don’t refinish it
A damp cloth is the whole maintenance. The membrane does not chalk like paint or go patchy like melamine that has been touched up once too often.

What you see is what arrives
Polish shade depends on who applied it and on the day. A foil is the same shade on every door in the house, and the same again if you order one more next year.

Where it is not the right door
This is an interior door. For a bathroom, a toilet or anywhere water stands in the doorway, ask us for a waterproof Z-on shutter instead. For a main entrance it is not a security door — that is a different conversation.

When the standard design isn’t enough.
Above the regular book sit three heavier ranges, cut deeper and finished the same way. These are the doors people put on a pooja room, a master bedroom or the face of a flat.

Premium membrane
Panelled and carved faces with raised centre motifs and shaped rails — the same construction as the standard book, routed deeper.

Extra premium
FAE-401 to FAE-406. Dense all-over patterns and figure work that read as carving from across a room.

Texture membrane
FAT-501 to FAT-507. A textured foil over the routed design, so the surface has a grain you can feel as well as see.

F3D-601 to F3D-605. The deepest of the lot, including sculpted Ganesh and mandala faces for a pooja or entrance doorway.

Inside a building, where the door is on show but out of the weather. Not for an exposed outer doorway.

Nothing to repolish between tenants, and a shade you can match again if one door has to be replaced.

A short wait on a design we don’t hold
A design that isn’t on the floor is a short wait rather than a season, and when you need one more door to match next year you get a straight answer instead of a shrug.

Photographs flatten an emboss and lie about a shade. Standing in front of the leaf settles both arguments in a minute.

We’ll tell you when it’s the wrong door
If the opening is a bathroom, or the shutter is going to take weather, we will say so and point you at something else. That costs us a sale now and saves an argument later.

Fitting sorted
We can arrange a fitter, or guide your carpenter on the frame and the hardware, depending on the order. Cutting and sizing is the carpenter’s work — the store does not do it.
