WPC Board
A board that doesn’t mind getting wet. WPC (wood plastic composite) is wood fibre bound with PVC into one solid sheet. Water doesn’t swell it and termites can’t eat it, so it goes where plywood and MDF struggle: under the sink, in the bathroom, out on the balcony.

What WPC board is.
Wood fibre locked inside PVC, so the sheet behaves more like a plastic than a plank when water gets at it.
One solid sheet
Wood fibre and PVC bound into a single sheet, the same all the way through. There are no veneers or layers for water to work its way between.
Water doesn’t swell it
MR plywood and MDF take water in at the edges and puff up. WPC doesn’t, so a leaking trap or a wet mop doesn’t lift it, and a cut edge stays as flat as the face.
Nothing for a termite to eat
The wood fibre is sealed inside the PVC, so there is nothing a termite or borer can get at.
Worked like wood
It is cut, drilled and screwed with ordinary carpentry tools, then finished with laminate or paint like any other board.

Long shelves and heavy loads
For a long shelf or a carcass that carries real weight, use BWR plywood or HDHMR.

A whole kitchen
Build the kitchen in HDHMR and keep WPC for the sink base. Our modular kitchen materials guide goes through which board goes where.

A different board for the sink base
Century Sainik 710 BWP or Action TESA Boilo also work under the sink. BWP is the one to pick if the base has to carry a heavy load.

Cutting it
Regular carpentry tools cut it. Fit a carbide-tipped blade.

Fixing it
Pre-drill every hole before driving the screw.

Cut edges don’t swell, so there is no edge sealing to do.

It takes laminate and paint, so the vanity can match the rest of the room.

Hinges and channels
The board won’t rust, but hardware can. In a bathroom or under a sink, use rust-proof hinges and channels.

Is WPC board waterproof?
The board is. It doesn't absorb water or swell, even at a cut edge. The hardware is the part to watch: use rust-proof hinges and channels, or they'll give out before the board does.
WPC board or BWP plywood for the sink base?
Both work. WPC never swells and is termite proof. BWP is stronger, so pick it if the base has to carry a heavy load.
Can WPC board be used outdoors?
Yes, for balcony and terrace units like shoe racks, planters and storage.
WPC board vs PVC board?
WPC is denser, stronger and holds screws better than PVC foam board. We deal in WPC board.
Can WPC board be laminated?
Yes. It takes laminate and paint, so a vanity or sink base can match the rest of the room.
Do you cut to size?
No. We supply full sheets and don't offer custom cutting.
